Watercolor “paper” is not made from woods, as wood pulp breaks down over time to become compost. Watercolor paper is made from 100% cotton. When paired with high grade professional watercolor paints as Ms. LaCasse uses, the painting will last throughout the next centuries. Of course, the original painting must be kept in a dry environment and use glass to protect the painting.
