All works of art produced by Sharon LaCasse are copyrighted.  For anyone who uses my designs by copying them you are therefore violating copyright laws.  Thank you for your understanding.

Additional information:  Copyright means that the only person who is allowed to copy the art I create is me, the Artist.  If someone publishes, prints, reproduces my artwork without my permission, as the Artist I have the right to take them to court and sue for damages.  Copyright laws are so strong that my family / legal heirs will still own the copyright on my artwork for 70 years after I die.

The copyright symbol is used by many artists as a reminder but is NOT at all necessary because the artist (in this case me) still owns the copyright.

To obtain a copyright from me, the Artist, a formal contract must be drawn up, an agreed upon sum is paid / collected and signatures are acquired on the contract.  A copy of the contract is given to the buyer of the copyright for the specific piece of art and I retain the original contract/document.
